“Live Kreatively“
My life story began in Bromley, England where I was born five minutes after my identical twin sister, Christy. Traveling around the world during my formative years would launch my love for adventurous experiences and ignite my creative spirit. After living an itinerant lifestyle, at age twelve I finally settled in Columbus, Ohio, under the legal guardianship of my paternal grandparents. My grandparents were instrumental in providing a loving foundation and allowed me to finally put down my roots.
Driven from a young age, and fascinated with discovering and experiencing new things, I learned that fostering my quest for creative exploration would become my most valued principle. Leading my life with open curiosity allowed me to begin making courageous decisions early on. During my junior year at The Ohio State University, I decided to pause my collegiate career to accept an opportunity working for my father’s private investigative business. It was during this time that my attention was captivated. I discovered my entrepreneurial traits and proved to be a natural fit in a male dominated industry. Through my strong work ethic and my natural ability to connect and develop people, I became the owner of the firm by my mid 20s. In the blink of an eye, my courageous decision became an extensive career, spanning almost 20 years and growing the firm into a multimillion-dollar business at its peak.
The early success I achieved was soon met with a personal tragedy. At age 33, my twin sister was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, which she would succumb to just 14 months later. The unexpected and devastating death of my identical twin left me with an insurmountable void and I began to see the world differently. After my sister’s passing I felt a calling to serve my community and honor my sister’s legacy of giving to others. In 2009, I co-founded a non-profit called In Christy's Shoes, where I could connect with my twin by sharing her story and ensure her memory would live on. To date the organization is 100% volunteer and has raised nearly $2,000,000 for programs that support women’s growth.
Today, my mission is to serve people powerfully through my coaching practice. By drawing out their extraordinary gifts and empowering them to create boldly, I help connect them with their most authentic self. I believe that we are all born into this world with an infinite amount of creativity, and it takes the tiniest shift to truly "see yourself" in a way that is transformational! I experienced this type of transformation, and it is the reason I committed myself to begin coaching others to see it too. I am committed to "Kreating Boldly" and living life with extraordinary purpose, while inspiring others to do the same. I am the creator of my life and refuse to be a passenger when I can choose my bold adventures and enjoy the ride of my life.

“Execute Intentionally“
As an Executive Solutions Coach, I empower creatives and entrepreneurs by alleviating headaches and developing sustainable solutions to on-going issues they encounter. I value consistency, reliability, open-communication, and constructive feedback. These values have a two-sided intention, as I seek to work with clients who value the same principles, creating a powerful client / coach relationship. I deliver assuredness to my clients; assurance that their tasks and goals are being achieved and assurance that their brand is accurately and professionally represented. I believe that high-performers value trust in all aspects of their life, and when you work with me, trust is at the forefront of every one of my actions.
I am a graduate of Ohio Dominican College with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts. After graduation, I got married and moved into the professional world, working in the flooring industry, before undertaking one of the most challenging roles I would ever encounter: Stay-at-Home Mom. Along with my former husband, I have raised two daughters, helping them grow into kind, respectful, and engaged human beings who are true to who they are while being mindful of how they contribute as citizens of the World.
In 2009, I co-founded a local nonprofit called In Christy’s Shoes, after losing my dear friend Christy to brain cancer. Using only volunteer support, In Christy’s Shoes has raised nearly $2,000,000 over 14 years, which has gone directly back into the community in Central Ohio and in Arlington, VA. Our efforts have provided funding to local nonprofits who support women transitioning out of homelessness, domestic abuse, substance abuse, unemployment, and human trafficking.
In 2020, I re-entered the workforce as an entrepreneur, co-founding Kreating Boldly, Inc. alongside my business partner, nonprofit partner, and person I’ve done life with for 37 years, Katrina Levy Zidel. Starting my own for-profit company has been a challenge and a true testimony of how believing in yourself and applying your gifts has a ripple effect of positive impact.
Connecting with my pod of people is a source of inspiration and great fulfillment for me. Whether I am with my daughters, friends, or immediate family, I get great joy in simply being present and engaged. Snuggling with my dogs, cooking for my people, and watching Ohio State football reminds me of the simplicity in life and allows me to do one of my favorite things, smile.
I believe in getting to know my clients, their blind spots and their goals, which creates a unique relationship of trust
